Hi everybody!

My name's Russ. I'm married with two beautiful daughters (Zoe and Athena). Over the past few years I've put together a small demo studio to record vocals. I studied a bunch of classical voice at various universities. But unfortunately that dream was never realized.

So instead I figured I might as well have as much fun as I can outside of the 'classical' environment.

I gravitate towards originals, though I've done a number of tribute bands to Iron Maiden and Judas Priest (early priest, and the healthier Dickinson era maiden stuff..though Di'Anno is a lot of fun to do in a 'Dickinson-esque' way).I enjoy singing the upper voice stuff in a healthy way. It's a lot of fun and the Maiden material allows me that opportunity.

Working on writing/recording as much stuff as I can. It seems that I keep running into 'metal' projects (as can be seen in my post about style). Though I really enjoy a lot of different styles. Also seems that most metal musicians are wanting an aggressive sound. So I've been working at trying to create some different things.

I'm here to learn and share.

I'm a big fan of older Maiden, and a bigger fan of Di'Anno, but as a vocalist I can see where you would prefer the Dickinson stylings
