In my parents empty house

Simple and direct. It works and is well-written. For some reason I get the feeling that it's supposed to have a deeper meaning than what I am getting when I read. Either way good job except I don't understand the repetition of "I've prepared a place" in the first stanza. Was that intentional? I also noticed that you used the word "place" quite a bit. I guess it was probably necessary though. Fairly good job though.
