Hello songwriters, It's great to be here! I am a singer/songwriter/musician. I have been writing songs since I was in my teens and I'm in my mid-forties now. I write mostly pop/rock but sometimes stretch into other genres. Recently I have been trying to learn how to write progressive rock. I have not mastered this yet and will be working on it until I do. I will be asking for help I'm sure. This is my short term goal. My long term goal is to learn to approach songwriting as a craft rather than as something that just kind of burps out of me, if you know what I mean. Most of my songs have been whatever I heard in my head, which I then tried to figure out on a guitar. I'd like to know more about what I'm doing now. Thanks and see you on the boards!
