The Day I Grew An Honest Heart:

Here's to, irony.

For always, showing me.

My, loose ends.

Strung so tight when.

Hanging tangled like a noose above my restless bed.

A hypocrite I fell to my deepest of webs.

Yea I played with my smile hiding,

discontent beneath our fire's final fight.

Yea contagions led by temptations blind

Into arms not so fit for mine.

And so I ran right back to you,

To your comfort, to my shame.

Sickened by the ugliness, and cruelties I laid for you to face.

Dreading the day you spoke her name, your lips were bound to bare.

The day in me you found mistakes, in despair of fates blown apart.

The day I swore to change said wicked ways.

The day I grew an honest heart.
