Hi

My name is gwyneth Rose, poet/lyricist composer. I'd like to discuss the music industry as a whole ; get advice; and meet and hook up (remotely) to collaborate with music composers/arrangers/ artists who dont write their own lyrics (the other side of the coin so to speak) who have had moderate success in the industry.

 

I really enjoy writing  "Out the box lyrics" in most genres, I am inspired by emotion and  specific audiance target. I know most people would say this limits the across the board audiance usually targeted, but I have a lot of fun this way :-)

 

Songs I have written lyrics for so far for interested parties are:-

 

"Diana Day" - a pop lyric - inspired by Princess Diana - A very catchy lyric asking the UK people to make a National Holiday - a Diana Day, to celebrate and bring back Princess Diana back for a day.

 

Judgement Day - a heavy metal rock - all about sinners and Judgement day (similar to Metalica)

 

"Other Woman" - Country genre -  inspired by a girlfriend whos husband is a player and my friend had enough and confronted the other woman before divorcing him (and is now extremely happy :-)

 

"African Dawn" - A  deep and soulful lyric about an African Mother who gave her child up for adoption, who now resides in America and misses her terribly, a lot of visionary described in the lyric - very sad..... in a similar vein to Lion King - I might still change the title to "My African American Child"...

 

Hope to meet some interesting people here that share the passion of breathing life into a lyric and turning it into a song
