Call me JO.

 

My name is Joe Johnstun, right now I live in Mexico, and I'm learning to surf.

 

I majored in Journalism, now studying Sexology and Music (which go together more than you might imagine).

 

I play guitar, piano, sing, write lyrics and music, record in a home DAW with Sonar and Audiophile, and self-publish (or not).

I don't know if you know what I mean, but sometimes the music is inside of you and it has to come out. Sometimes you can't sleep until it's all out. That's the why.

 

Here at SongStuff, I hope to receive/share constructive criticism mainly on the bare bones of the song before it changelings into a fully-produced, multi-headed pop monster. I'm more of a singer/songwriter than a producer so my criticisms will mostly refer to the actual pith of the song itself rather than its production values.
