This is recited by Horace Rumpole on his way to work at the beginning of a ‘Rumpole of the Bailey’ episode. For best effect, try to imagine him saying it.

No warmth,

No cheerfulness,

No healthful ease,

No comfortable feel in any member,

No shade,

No shine,

No butterflies,

No bees,

No fruit,

No flowers,

No leaves,

No birds,

No-vember
