Guitarist Who Tries To Sing (Feedback)

So I have played guitar for quite some time, but never been singing.
I have started singing a little and find it very fun. I have never even sung for anyone so some feedback would be nice and how I can better some thing, if you have any ideas.
Been sick for a some time now, so excuse me if my voice would crack some time, haha.

Also, I apologize for the sound quality. I don't have any recording equipment whatsoever, which resulted in me having to use my not so good phone. Recording stops automatically after a bit over 2 minutes for some reason, so I can't even record for long... but oh well. Let's get to it.

Playing around a bit by trying to sing Nessun Dorma. Haha, sounds funny how it cuts out in the end... I assume I failed there.

Haha no. I just threw it in there, because I couldn't decide what to sing.

I play electric guitar as well and play a lot of rock. I'd like to create some progressive rock.

Trying to find my voice right now. Would be great if someone could give some advice!

Was gonna edit the opening post and switch out the links to a site where the quality was better. But seems I can't edit it? Or am I missing something?

I was going to have a listen, but not sure what happened to your soundcloud posts?  It says, "This track is currently not available.".  Let me know when you get it back up.

I checked his account through soundcloud Peter, he's removed all the tracks.

 

Sometimes, and this can be due to location (as in my case), I find occasionally that I have to open a window/tab and go direct to soundcloud to listen

Hi!

I deleted them simply because the sound was so bad. I made some new recordings with slightly better equipment now.

Unfortunately, I am STILL sick. I don't know what is happening to my throat, it is very frustrating. I can never sing properly due to constant throat infections. Guess I should just give up singing for a while, since it seems it gets worse when i sing, and I'm afraid it'll damage my voice in the long run.   So you'll simply have to deal with my voico cracking sometimes and me not being able to use enough power or take high notes, lol.

Anyway, here's some recordings I just put up! I'm not sure if quoting you will make you see. Let's, see, if not I'll send you a private message or something later on.
