Love Is An Illusion

I've come to the conclusion

that love is an illusion

for all of the deluded

of whom I am included

love they say is all embracing

it gets the heart a racing

there is nothing like it

to get you all excited

but when love lets you down

you crash to the ground

like a meteor from the sky

you feel like you might die

but soon it is forgotten

how love had left you broken

you leave behind the pain

go in search of love again

but love is an illusion

that is my conclusion

Sorry I missed this when you posted it!....I like what you wrote it's right to the point and we can all relate, everyone is always looking for love, but love plays elusive until that right one comes along!!...so keep searching if you have not found the right one yet?...there is someone for everyone out there and there is nothing better than being in love!...great write!...regards Mike

love is not an illusion it is chemical imbalance in the brain . but who wants to balance chemicals .? what happens if you spill LOL
