That's pretty good as you captured your 'theme' and stayed on point from a context and content POV.

I think you might want to consider your last verse. Make the 1st two lines your last two lines and end with the rhyme as the positive conclusion.

 

You have the ability to complete a single thought or description in a neat, tidy sentence or line or two.

 

That's a skill that's just as important as rhyming and underutilized.  One that I'm still working at.
