For fun: your own guilty pleasure song

I was thinking that maybe it would be nice to have a “(just for fun) topic/ thread” were we post our own (or cover of a) “guilty pleasure song”. A song you did write (or play) but does not really fit into your repertoire (because it is to commercial or the lyrics are filled with clichés or…) But you “kinda like” anyway. You know “guilty pleasure”. So let’s see what happens when I start this:

Mine is called “Just An Other Hit The Road Song”. It’s a song with a kinda reggae feel in it (and I do not do reggae). It is filed with clichés and I even have copy/paste the line “Hit the road Jack and don’t you come back no…” in it. I think that is more than enough reason to feel guilty about this song. The pleasure? It makes me happy.

I'm A Believer - The Monkees

 

Have always loved this song since I was a kid. That's a a long time, because I was 4 years old when this song came out in 1966! So that's 50 years that this has been one of my favorite songs.

Mine's, "Ice Ice Baby," by Vanilla Ice!! I know...but I was just a kid and didn't know who Queen was at the time, so it kinda remained as my favorite remix of "Under Pressure." Sorry, Queen(and fans)!
