Hello all stumbled across this site during the course of googling for a way forward. I am a trained singer and do not play any other instruments (much as I'd like to). I have recently started writing and performing my own songs which I currently sing a cappella mainly, though am starting arranging them via the use of a computer to aid my abysmal music knowledge! I hope to record a few of them soon, even if only at home with v basic equipment, but have been inspired by listening to some of the recordings on here so may be brave and share them when I have. I am not sure where my style fits in terms of genres - so I would be interested in what people think when I get there. Thanks to you for creating this site - I hope it will help keep the creative juices flowing. Laurax
