Hello,
This is my first posts so I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Envida M. and I've been into writing songs for a very long time. I only recently got into taking the songs I write and putting them into real music as of late. More importantly because I've always been more of a singer/writer than a musician but my husband brought me a guitar some time ago and I've been playing it ever since. I now feel confident enough that I can actually perform songs with it. My husband and I recently started buying music equipment so I can record in our recreation room. When we were at the music store one of the people there suggested I look into buying a reflection filter too since it was an easy way of having a little studio. They didn't have any at the store but he told me I could probably find one online. I'm suprised I never knew about these little studio booths before but then again I'm still growing at this. From what I've found there are quite a few of these things but a couple I think might help me.
What I'm looking to do is record my guitar and myself. Sometimes I might have a melody first or a song so if I have an idea I want to lay down one or the other then eventually both when I have it all figured out how I want it to go.

I think any of these would help me out a bit but our house is one of the older ranch styles so the living room,tv room, kitchen, rec room are all open areas. So I get all kinds of crazy sounds from other places in the house when I record. I was hoping that someone who has tried anyone of these might be able to let me know if they had any luck with them or not. I don't want to spend too much or put up something I can't take down and put in a closet when I have company over. Which I think is very attractive about the idea. What do you all use?
