I am an avid writer of abstract narrative poetry, and over the past year I have been experimenting with evolvong poems to songs.....not an easy task. I'm doing my best to learn song structure. My other problem is that I don't play an instrument now, but I am a classicaly trained violinist from the age of 6, but I gave it up years ago. The upside is that my ear is trained, but I am unable to put my words to melody, etc. Its a tricky question, which comes first: words or music....for me its words because i cannot at this time produce the music. Anyway, that's me, and I look forward to being a part of this forum.
