Very cool photo.

 

I had the same model car but with a Granada badge, and someone had put a 3litre Capri engine in it, way back when I was 17... although mine was already ancient and was hand (brush) painted with black Hammerite (which I now realise is unforgivable).

 

Those were the days.

They're ALL water-based...

 

Might get it done on vinyl as a gatefold. And since that's a photo of me in the bathroom mirror... it could unfold to reveal me in the bath . Hmmm  then again... that's probably not a good idea.

Yes the hair is from Rob Davis of Mud (did they cross to the US? If not ..worth a look on youtube).

 

The body came from a photo of a vintage knitting pattern model.

 

The rest is cobbled together from all sorts.
