Hello everybody, my name is Josh. Hailing from the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. I thought I may as well use the questions from one of the stickies to guide myself through this rather daunting post. 1. Do you sing, play an instrument or instruments? I sing and play guitar. I can also tinkle on the keys, bang drums and slap the bass a bit. I am mostly self taught from several years ago until now. I have taken my fair share of lessons though. 2. Are you in a band or bands? I am not in a band currently (aside from Sunday services) but I have something in the works... 3. Do you write songs? I write songs, well I try my best... I guess we all start somewhere. 4. Do you record your music? I have tinkered with a friend's recording gear. But I don't have anything available yet... 5. What other roles do you perform in the music business? Does gear-junkie count? 6. Are you a tech head? Unashamedly, yes! 7. What are your ambitions? Front a band and break/come out of South Africa. 8. Do you draw/paint/write stories/computer art/dance or other creative pursuit? I have mediocre Photoshop skills... 9. What would you like to get out of Songstuff? Hopefully some help, support and a sense of community from a group of like-minded individuals. Thanks for reading, I appreciate it.
