I am the lyricist, and a friend is the composer of a song. We are both on the copyright. If I use another composer and completely different music she composes, is my friend still entitled (legally in the US) to compensation if the song sells? There is nothing similar to song 1 and song 2 except for MY lyrics. Thanks.
