I'd recommend keeping the Graphic Design study thing and do music in spare time. Maybe you could have some piano courses and/or go to college where you study music after getting diploma in Graphic Design? You seem like a very artistic person.

I usually start with some catchy melody or rhythm progression on guitar or keyboard, which I then build upon. Some basic drum pattern comes to my mind same time as doing the rhythm or melody. I usually add drums last to the song based on the bass line.

I'm a musician and found this forum just recently and looking forward to explore this community and do stuff. I play mostly guitar, drums and keyboard. Been playing metal music a lot in the past. I have began to use DAW some time ago to make electronic music such as synthwave or almost chiptune style of retroish gaming music. Great to be here!
