End Non-Responsive Applications
Windows 2000/XP
To set your computer to automatically end tasks that are not responding, open the registry and look for this string:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\CONTROL PANEL\DESKTOP
Right-click on the "AutoEndTask" key and select "Modify". Change the Value Data to 1. Now right click on the "WaitToKillAppTimeout" key and select "Modify". Enter the time in seconds you want the unresponsive program to be automatically shut down. Exit the registry and reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.
Rename The Recycle Bin
All Windows
To change the name of the Recycle bin, go to the Registry and look for this string:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
Right-click on the "Default" string in the right pane and type in the name you want for the Recycle Bin.

Hi gang,
A little bit of a non-music question.
I am trying to help out someone I work with in finding a piece of software that can do the following, but have had no luck.
As of right now he uses his PC to play a slide show of photo's he has taken and they are run to music.
He is able obviously to burn these slide shows to CD and play them on his TV and of course can burn music to a CD.
What I am looking for is a program that will combine these two into a musical slide show that can be burned. Kinda like little movies he can play on his TV.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi
Can anyone recommend a portable recorder? Nothing too expensive, but ideally something that you can just connect to a PC to just upload recordings, and that can take an external microphone. A minidisc was used as a portable recorder before, but it's a bit more of a pain to upload. If there is something better that could do this, that would be great.
Cheers
John
my mate recomends this one..dunno if its what you want tho

good topic mr Didier
to me it sounds like an intersting software as i am a non-singer but a writer.
trying to get your message accross often incures more than words/music..
i think a simulated example of what a writer is trying to create is a good idea
it gives the real singer an understanding of where a writer is coming from
altho it may sound cold compaired to the real voice
ya just can't win them all

Still purely on the grounds that I can't afford to get sued... well, I guess it's also a copyright issue. Maybe not.
