  5. "The Christmas Song" sometimes titled "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire" or, as it was originally subtitled, "Merry Christmas to You" is a classic Christmas song written in 1945 by Robert Wells and Mel Torme. According to Torme, the song was written in July during a blistering hot summer. In an effort to "stay cool by thinking cool", the most-performed Christmas song was born. "I saw a spiral pad on his (Wells's) piano with four lines written in pencil", Torme recalled. "They started, 'Chestnuts roasting..., Jack Frost nipping..., Yuletide carols..., Folks dressed up like Eskimos.' Bob didn't think he was writing a song lyric. He said he thought if he could immerse himself in winter he could cool off. Forty minutes later that song was written. I wrote all the music and some of the lyrics." The Nat King Cole Trio first recorded the song in June 1946. Dedicated to all beautiful peoples of our world! Peace and Joy is my wish for all!!! Feed back is much appreciated.

  7. Winter Wonderland, Music by Felix Bernard, Words by Dick Smith. Composed in 1934, and originally sang by Richard Himber. The song is about a couple's romance during the winter season. December is always a joyous occasion with lots of music and food, and lights, and parols, and more food!!! I also always associate this occasion with cold weather and white snow. I remember Mama would bring out grapes and apples on the midnight of the 24th, which is a very special treat for all of us. Merry Christmas to one and all!!! Feedback is much appreciated. https://youtu.be/VxpkV9oWmDg

  12. Hi Greg, I have about 6 ready to be rotated in my music room, and about 10 more lying around the house. Part of the uniform. And the reverb in my room is something else. I am being told, not to touch my room reverb and sound settings. I think I just got lucky on the "big" room sound I have at the moment. Even my guitar, unplugged, is being picked up with a huge sound. Thanks for the notice, Greg!!! Rene

With love and respect, Rene
  15. "A Day in the Life" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, released in their 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It remains one of the most celebrated songs in music history, appearing on many lists of the greatest songs of all time. Lennon's lyrics were mainly inspired by contemporary newspaper articles, including a report on the death of Guinness heir Tara Browne. Beware of fake news. A lot of time, fake news is so obvious. 17. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Lennon's son Julian inspired the song with a nursery school drawing that he called "Lucy – in the sky with diamonds". Shortly before the album's release, speculation arose that the first letter of each of the nouns in the title intentionally spelled "LSD". Lennon repeatedly denied that he had intended it as a drug song, and attributed the song's fantastical imagery to his reading of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland books. This song id dedicated to my wonderful and beautiful sister, Ruby Del Rosario, and to her who family. This song also goes to her loving life-partner, Armin, a successful banker, Civil Engineer, and Home Builder.Happy Birthday, Ruby!!!Ruby In The Sky With Diamonds! We love you!!!Feedback much appreciatedhttps://youtu.be/gh8kyd1A91g
