Hi Peggy! The lead vocalist is responsible for writing the lyrics however, for the rest of the instrumental, I would say that it really depends...sometimes a member comes up with a nice melody or bassline and we start from there...other times we might sit next to a piano or guitar and start to come up with some chord progressions to sing to. Currently I am playing the keys/synths even though I'm not the greatest pianist but on the other hand I'm responsible for a big part of the composition and all of the production of the tracks 😆. Hey guys! I'm new to the forum so I'm still learning how this all works!😆 Anyways, I'm doing this post to introduce myself... I'm João and I'm a member of an indie band from Portugal called Van Bloom. My background in music production is scarce since this is our first band and I'm only 18 years old however the love I feel for music keeps me interested and motivated to connect with other people with the same interests and hopefully CREATE new sounds and provoke strong emotions.
