  1. I have a feeling like that will cost much more than 8000$ for 60 seconds then 😵 But yes contacting art schools and such seems like a great idea, thank you @john I think like that it should also be a lot cheaper than taking that service from professional studios. The only problem will be finding someone who can create the style of anime I'm looking for.
  2. oh no i can't 😅 I can produce music but not anime music videos. That's why I thought about hiring someone or a studio that could do that.
  3. Hey everybody. Me and my colleague are slowly working on turning stuff serious. So I was wondering about how much professional music videos costs. Especially animated ones. Japanese anime like would be best (the high quality movie anime stuff i mean). I wasn't able to find much online. Just one website gave a price of 4000-8000$ for 60 seconds. Is it possible to find cheaper ones or might this one be already cheap in that topic? I really have NO idea about the market 😅
  4. Thank you @john and @Gtar Pkr for the critique 🙂 I will foward it to Carl. Tho currently he isn't in conditions fit to sing, so new recordings will take some time and we also have two other projects waiting as well. Untill then I'll see if I can improve the overall vocal sound settings. @john the setup i used: Strings - Cinematic Strings from Cinematic Studio Series Brass - Cinebrass 2 from Cinesamples Toms - Ferrum from Keepforest (free library) Risers/Various Hits - Different free libraries from Keepforest Other Percussions - Deep Percussion Beds from Cinesamples and various percussions from EastWest Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold Edition. Drumkit - Samples from FL Studio Keys - Harmor SynthBass - Harmor Reverb - Blackhole from Eventide All arranged in FLStudio I didn't record the vocals. Carl did the vocal recording. I wrote/arranged and recorded all instrumental lines and did the mixing.
  5. Hey everybody! I guess this is my first musical post here on Songstuff. It's an orchestral/cinematic cover of J+1 and DrDisrespect's Alleyways. Arranged by TDM (me) and vocals by Carl Davies (link below). The original version is a Synthwave song which is pretty simple but still totally great. I tried to make it a bit more interesting with some different instruments and variations in melody. Hope you like it 😁 Link to the song: Carl Davies' Soundcloud
  6. I'll keep that in mind @VoiceEx, thank you 😄 And my brother is bringing his Oculus when he visits me in about a month, gonna be my first time on Beat Saber 😅 Thank you for the warm welcome @Gtar Pkr 😄 Yes all my Electro-Pop projects are still a bit far from being finished (same as tons of orchestral ones). But the reason is that I don't find enough time to really sit down and finish those. Sometimes I also lack the mood to work on them. Though this time I had another project to finish first - my second collab with Carl Davies (will publish that soon... hopefully). The newest song in my "spotlights" on Soundcloud is the first collab. I hope you meant "bright" in a good way 😅 I'm still trying to get a better quality.
  7. Thanks @VoiceEx, this will really help me on my first try 😁 I should have an usb-condenser microphone somewhere at home (it's from Guitar Hero 😂) i guess it should work. Problem is that I need free time for that. If i can manage to try it this week i will totally load up my results 😅
  8. Oh those are some good idea to be honest. You really made me think about creating my own sounds. I mean, I thought about it some time ago but not really seriously. I think now it's a good time to try something new 😄
  9. I sometimes combine the same instruments of different brands to get a rich/different sound. But other than that i only play with EQ, compressors some effects and other dynamics to get a different sound or I get myself a new library 😅 . I focused a bit too much on my writing skills than my editing skills 🙃
  10. I'm not sure if I'm good enough to create my own samples that way but I guess it's worth a try. For now I use the libraries below (copied from another forum i wrote this topic about): From Cinesamples - For Brass - CineBrass Core and Pro Strings - CineStrings Core Woodwinds - CineWinds Core and Pro Harp - CineHarp Percussions - CineToms, Deep Percussion Beds 1 and 2, CinePerc EPIC, Drums of War 2 Choir - Voxos Piano - Piano in Blue Solo Cello - Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato Solo Violin - Taylor DavisOther Brands -East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold Edition (I'm actually disappointed by this library. The percussions aren't that bad tho) LA Scoring Strings 2 LA Scoring Strings 2 Sordino Cinematic Strings 2 (my favorite) Afflatus Chapter I Strings (very good library but didn't use it too much for now) Native Instruments - The Giant (Piano) Tonehammer - Epic Tom Ensemble (I guess that one isn't available anymore) Sample Logic - Cinematic Guitars 1 and 2, Cinematic Keys, HAVOC Impact Soundworks - Shreddage MusicLab Real Guitar MusicLab Real LPC Amplitube 3 Toontrack EZDrummer (various sets)Lead vocals- Zero-G - Ethera Gold 2.5 (Clara Sorace and Daniele D'Andrassi) Zero-G - Ethera Gold Sahara Voices Zero-G - Ethera Gold Intimate Vocals Best Service - Shevannai, the Voice of Elves Sample Packs- KeepForest AizerX Free Pack KeepForest Hybrid Cyberpunk (Free Pack) KeepForest Evolution Devastator Warzone (Free Edition) KeepForest Ferrum (Free Edition) KeepForest Risenge (Free Edition) Alex Rome Sound Eternal and Mainstage Vocal Collection Duende Sounds Evince that's pretty much the most important part (probably less than half of what i own). I still didn't release anything with the newer libraries or Sample packs tho.
  11. Hey @VoiceEx Wow that's a huge list 😅 Thank you so much! That will really come in handy 😄
  12. I can very well understand that, it's the same on my side.
  13. Hey there Troy! Nice to meet you! "Tonedead" is quite an interesting name 😄 hope you're still doing well with music 😜
  14. Likewise @An Abstract Mouse 🙂 Lets hope my music taste won't give you much of a struggle 😅
  15. Thank you very much @Peggy! I'll certainly have a look around 🙂 Hi @john, it's good to be here 🙂 I'm excited myself to listen to what the other members shared on the forum.
