Hi guys, I'm new here and I'm currently studying music production in uni, currently doing a dissertation on negative harmony. I want feedback from the songwriting community here to see if anyone actually thinks that negative harmony is a viable songwriting/composing tool? I keep hearing about it more and more and am genuinely curious as to how relevant it actually is right now. Is it growing in popularity? Has anyone here actually used it in their own compositions, or even understand it for that matter?
If any songwriters\composers could find the time to hopefully help me out by answering a 10 min. survey it would really help me out a lot. You don't need to even know about negative harmony, it would still help! Cheers!
