i tend to write lots of lyrics and have lots of ideas... i've written plenty of 'songs' even in standard form i just tend to make my songs far too unique so they can't appeal to anyone. so i want to join a community where i can feel comfortable writing something a bit more normal... and perhaps a bit less psychosomatic, less sesquipedalian, and less anti-lexicographic ... i can write a song to the point of it having generic chords, a generic melody in about an hour. I'm really bad, though, at making generic lyrics. I just wrote 10 songs of lyrics today in like 3 hours... and i don't know... it's kind of annoying when you put effort into being creative and actually making a lot of original ideas and people just ignore it. i figure i have plenty of other weaknesses in songwriting... -what i'd consider to be somewhat obscure or otherwise awkward pentameters -overly concentrated usage of keychanges, chromatics, and especially time signature patterns. -i have a 6 octave vocal range and can sing various styles... but i can't sing at a professional level at all.

Hey! I'm lookin to get critiques on my music; both bands, and solo stuff. I'm also looking to learn about production, and I just think its an honor to get some good advice from people who are WAY more experienced than me. Someday I'll be good enough to give valid critiques myself lol
