Hello all. They call me Darrin Earthbender Lyons. You can call me Earthbender. I'm 39 yo and I have to start writing again or my wife will kill me. I hope this place will give me a kick in the pants. I played in a Hippie Jam all original band in the early 90's. I wrote a lot of the songs and sang lead on most of the stuff. My influences include, well anyone who plays guitar and sings really. I could write 3 chords songs all day but I'm looking to expand a bit. My main guitar is a Dana Bourgeois "banjo killer." It's number 6 of the first 30 made. She's a beautiful beast. I often hear songs that I wish I wrote and for the past year that song has been "you'll never leave Harlan alive" by Brad Paisley. Check it out.
