Shay

hey there I'm Shay,and I'm wondering.. I sometimes get a stroke of inspiration that last for just about a line.sometimes a few verses or a chorus,but not a whole song.sometimes,I drop the song-move on,and then I get back to it later,just to find out that I don't know what to do anymore. any tips about that?what do you do? thanks Shay.

sup? I'm Shay (pronounced shy.. ) from Israel not sure if I'm a songwriter,but I do seem to enjoy it and feel the need to. I'm still struggling with really getting my process figured out-I often get a stroke of Inspiration,but it only "lasts" for a verse,or the chorus-sometimes,just a couple of lines... so...still need to find my way of completing songs. will love to get some advice on that I listen to pretty much any thing,from Country,Blues,Jazz to Rock,Metal,punk and all the way to the trashiest pop music there is (bubble gum pop as I like to call it). my father,who died when I was 2 years old,was a musician and played the cello at an orchestra, so I grow up with allot of classic music in my life.. anyway,that's all I think about saying right now.. have a great day Heart.
