hey folks,

recently i came across a magazine named "computer music".....

does any-one know how is the magazine...??

coz its pretty expensive for me......although it is just 85 pounds but when i convert into my currency it becomes almost 7,500 bucks.....which is more then my college fees....

in short how is the magazine....??

Without going into scathing detail maybe (I could but I don't get a kick out of bashing) - FWIW I stopped buying it after like 6 or 9 months. My advice would be to get a library card and hit the books. Much better plan. 85 pounds will buy you a stack of those 'xxxxxxx for Dummies' books, and I checked some of those for music, and they rock.

85 pounds? Computer Music is about £6 GB here, Not sure what the postage would cost? I can find out if you like? Where are you? It's a very good magazine, but does tend to blind you with everything new! I used to subscribe to it, but stopped when I realised it was too intense! I was wishing for everytthing that came out, and not getting any music done! If you can get the cover DVD, it has a great software collection attached, with a huge array of samples. Have a look at their website. Loads of tutorials on there.

I got the Computer Music special with the 100 best Plugins. I was $17 here in the US.

Yeh I got that! Some interesting stuff on there!
