Yeah I am planning to buy the single most expensive piece of software I've bought yet, and will have to bleed for it. Is my new tools for the next 3-5 years, though. I don't look at cost as much, then.

Very little, actually. The Tascam works fine for just about all my needs. It is a tad elderly (I bought it used three years ago), and I just hope it continues working well--they aren't made any more. I invested this summer in a couple of replacement instrument mikes (I already have a good singing mike). About the only thing on the horizon I want, really, is one of those printers that will print direct on CD (I design my own labels).
