Drum Triggers...

Recommended Posts

Wanted a recommendation or maybe some advice.

We've decided on the type of sound we want to go for and the conclusion is a more electronic, almost (but not really) industrial.

We have live insutrments of course, Bass, Guitar, violin, Drums and Vox, everything else we run backing tracks for (synths, keys etc).

I think were going to go with using drum triggers for our new EP.

Rent a top of the line combo of triggers and a good brain hub (V synth perhaps?) and go to town!

Let me know what you guys think about that option.

Thanks so much!

It definitely adds a new dimension to Music, and I could "see" it working well with the Music style you do. I spent a few minutes in a band where the drummer used triggers well and it was cool. While adding the electronic element, in my mind it still counts as playing an instrument since you get to hit stuff [smiley=drums.gif]

I look forward to hearing how you work it in [smiley=rockin.gif]
