Sonar 2.2

I still haven't upgraded from Sonar 1 yet. Has anyone upgraded from Sonar 1 to 2 yet? If so I'd be interested to hear if you think it was worthwhile

Thanks sparrow. btw if you have Sonar 2 adding drum loops would be really easy, just add them as embedded audio!

Now getting the loops, that's a different matter...

I'm still not sure about this whole loop thing. I can only concentrate in a linear fashion. Besides which, all the drum loops I've listened to are dreadful sounding mushy affairs. I have been messing around with the computer music free stuff. But even that sounds a bit dodgy... I guess I'll stick with what I've got for now...

PLUS some new DX-instrument-plugins.... and S*** like that... nothing MAJOR.... BUT worth the update, IF You got it.

I use Sonar 2.2, but that's the first version I've tried, but I have heard the effects are much improved. With Sonar 2.2 XL you get the Sonic Timeworks 64 bit Eq and Compressor, which are great . Sonar 3 just came out,with some Lexicon effects in the producer edition. You might be able to find 2.2 on the web for cheaper, now that 3 has come out. Sonar 2.2XL comes with FXpansion DR-008,which is a great sounding drum machine. You can also export in OMF1 and 2 for Pro Tools etc. I have a sound check of some live Drums if you want to take a listen at my site @ www.soundclick.com/davehall
