Just a shout out to everyone here. I'm Jim, a 43 yr old living in Washington State, and have just VERY recently tried my hand at writing lyrics. I've always been somewhat musical, always enjoyed singing and always wanted to do something with it. As happens a lot of times when you reach my age, I'm at a point where I wonder what happened to time, how did it speed up so much and how did I end up where I am now? What happened to the dreams I had and all the things I wanted to be "When I Grow up". So, I figured no time like the present. I plan to start taking piano lessons again shortly, and my goal is to be able to write my own music to go with my lyrics. Anyway, nice to meet you all! 8)
