A Hello From Estonia

Hello everybody!

I am a music student from Estonia, though, I guess only a semi-academic one.

I have taken lessons in basic music theory for some years now from a private tutor and now I am also studying renaissance and baroque music in a harpsichord class. I started playing the piano at the age of 12 (after getting very enthusiastic over the idea of playing some songs by Coldplay - my favorite band at the time, actually )

By now however I listen to almost any type of music. I dislike only a few select genres. (Electronica, techno, pop, trance etc)

I don't really consider myself a songwriter as such, rather as a composer. (Because I suck at writing poetry? Heh.) Because to me, the music is always more important and furthermore I am getting more and more interested in experimental genres of instrumental music.

I am looking forward to having discourses on composing/songwriting, as I would like a boost on my creative juices.
