I AM A SOLDIER

I AM INDESTRUCTABLE

I AM INVINCIBLE

May no one walk before me and lend their philosophy as new and exciting,

Or I shall show them a mirror of bore and disgust.

I will turn those who preach, to salt, before an ocean

And bury their soul amongst the millions before me.

I will tear, rip, and strip them of their innocence

and bare their guilt upon my staff.

I shall then walk one thousand miles to bury my

heart in the mountain of gold.

Well....I liked this one......perhaps not what you're accustomed too.......how's this......I wrote this for Hallmark....... it's called, "Smiles"

We winked and teased each other's eyes

Anxious were our smiles

Like little kids who dream and play

Of sailing 100 miles

We'll build that boat, and find that beach

and all we'll need are smiles

I wrote this while I was really upset at a friend.....arrogant, self-righteous, and completely ignorant to the appointment of any empathy due....this was how he was acting towards the world in general I like this poem because it really reflected his inner arrogance -Tom

Hi Cookie.............thanks for being so nice

But that's one of the reasons why I like writing songs........the music explains the lyric. Poetery should be self explaining.
