An Ancient Youth

Hi everyone, I'm a 40+ man who's been writing poetry and songs periodically since I was a kid but I kept it mostly to myself and let few if any read what I wrote. Decided to give this forum a try and step out of the box. I hope to make new friends and get the needed advice that can make me write better. I live in Indiana but my family is from the south, so I have dubbed myself a "Hoosier Hillbilly". I live up to that term proudly and am influenced by my southern side considerably. My friends call me L.J.
