I'm totally new here but not really new to singing, although I've got no formal experience and just do it for myself.

Yay, thanks so much!!! I'm glad you liked them. I definitely had timing issues on Moments of Pleasure. I'm fully aware of that cause I really didn't know it that well. I LOVE Kate Bush and love that song, but because it's SO sad and painfully beautiful, I'd always sort of avoided listening to it properly...

Oh, and I slide up to notes regularly cause it's the common way "pop" singers do it, but I don't have to. Scarborough Fair I was trying to remember NOT to do it but I'm sure I still did several times, lol.

Hey! I think you sound great! Invest in a good mic and a protools MBox2 and you will sound the business! I would love to hear you sing Fyfe Dangerfield's version of She's Always a Woman, your voice would suit it just right! You have a great talent, just need some better recording equipment to make the tracks sound more professional. We want to hear more!!! : )

I don't know much about much but I listened to The Scientist and I thought it sounded wonderful. My personal preference would have been for less reverb or a more dry vocal track but that's just preference. It was really beautiful.

I initially thought it was Karen Carpenter singing. Scrolling down and finding "We've only just begun" and "Rainy days and Mondays" was.... uncanny.

I'd definitely use you on ballad style stuff. But if you were ever to sing my songs I'd ask you to try to let yourself loose and not try to be so "clever", if you know what I mean. And I'd use a de-esser on the vocal tracks.

Heheh, I've been told by many that I sound like Karen Carpenter. I do take it as a definite compliment, though I WISH I could let loose and be rocky...my vocal idol is Grace Slick...but I just don't have her type of voice. It pains me...lol

Anyway, thanks for the feedback!! I don't have a Youtube thingo for songs cause I don't have videos so thought it a bit silly...I don't need to "get out there" in terms of just the karaoke type song clips I've done. I plan in the as near as possible future to get my original songs OUT THERE and once I've done videos for them, then I'll launch myself into the Youtube stratosphere!
