You say your "two cents" is worth a lot,

but my common sense says it's worth a lot less than face value.

A lot less grace allows you to lace your meal grace with cheap thanks

while like a warm shroud you pull your ingratitude in close around you.

With a surly attitude and thoughtless ways

your eyes can meet everything but the steady gaze

of the one way that can help you change your days,

to help break you from your daze,

lifting the haze that clouds your ways,

lifting from your eyes that cloudy glaze,

helping you realize that after cloudy days

comes fresh air and clean sunshine,

pouring through the opening in that cloudy space.

Let it warm your tired frame,

let it melt your current frame of mind,

let it give you the courage to let it all slip away,

and to realize that you are the unbounded space

that holds all the things of today,

in a light and weightless sort of a way.
