A knife piercing your flesh

Feels the same as a friend letting go

You give them your shoulder

You give them your hand

In the end of it all they don't give a damn

Been taken for granted

Been beaten down

It's the same all around

They tape your mouth shut

When you're too loud

They slap you when you make a sound

And Laugh when you've fallen to the ground

The lies that are told

Eventually the truth unfolds

You're drowning in your tears

Cause after all these years

Whatever friendship is

It gets thrown away

You live day to day

Hanging your head in shame

Unsure of what to say

You try to crawl away

And they step on your bones

As they dig your grave

Then even your shadows fade

No existance of your face

There's nothing left but pain.
