Looks like that cat dragged a bunch of us in here! (Hi Bruce, Jonie & Alistair!)

I was a closet musician for most of my life. I've come out of the closet and am learning how to live openly with my musical persuasion. I've spent the last few years in school learning about music, and am hoping to spend the next few years creating it.

This looks like a delightful community.

Indeed, John, a cool jazz lyricist cat recommended this site in a thread from a similar site, www.musesmuse.com (also a delightful community). I believe you know who he is... whether or not you will be thanking him for this infiltration remains to be seen!
