Thumping and slapping the bass, that's how I like to play it. Mark King is my main influence, and he's really one of the best in that style. Alain Caron of jazz band UZEB is also godly-talented.

Wait a Minute, this is Marc from UMS, speaking of slapping und tapping? You S.O.B, you havn't tell us dorks anything about that, even you know that one of the bass god's live in Finland?

Shame on you, I didn't even know you play bass  ;D

And In the Other Hand, that M.King guy is one well known dude, but if you want to find a real talent, you should listen guys like Abe Laboriel, Stanley Clarke,Kofi Bentsi-Enchill, Marcus Miller, J-O Strandberg and other real solo bassist; Why don't you try this link for example: http://www.soundart.se/records/  and check out that spicy fingers video ;)
