Hello!

I'm Kyra. Well, not really, but that's the name I'm choosing to go by here.

I sing (in the shower, untrained so probably not that good), am learning to play the guitar, but primarily am a writer (novels and short stories, with the occasional dabble into poetry, nothing published yet), just now dipping my toes into the song writing pool. Oh, and I whistle as well, untrained as per my singing. When I was little I dabbled with the piano too, can sort of play by ear (as long as I keep it simple), though don't ask me to read music.

I'm probably fairly old to only just be getting into this (omg, I just called myself old... I'll be hitting the big 4 0 next Jan), but I'm trying out new directions in my life (yay for mid-life crises), and music is one of those background loves that I'm putting the spotlight on.

I have a feeling that there probably are whistling instructors out there, but I haven't been inclined to seek them out.
