Buying FX

Hi

I want to buy a good guitar FX unit, and as usual I don't want to spend too much. Can anyone recommend anything? If you can list some of the features you liked and what you didn't like it would be really helpful.

I have to admit I still like my Zoom unit. Pretty good effects at not to bad a price.

I always hit ebay when I want some new boxes - I bought a Yamaha REX-50 for less than £50, this box does reverb, compression, distortion, chorus, flange you name it and works equally well with my guitars, keyboards or ropey voice.

Thanks for your post. To be honest I wouldn't have thought about ebay, I've never used it (I must live in the dark ages or something).
