"Midnight thoughts on the cusp of dreaming"

Love, an original feeling

easily missed, easily switched

for jealously or lust

A perpetual feeling of happiness.

Self empowerment is love.

When gone, appears a black void

ever engulfing ones self pride

Fizzling emotion, a downward sprint

to an empty abyss of loneliness and self loathing

Self loathing - real hatred for ones self

Not permanent, nor fleeting

Stuck there, on the tip of your tongue

Suddenly on an unsuspecting afternoon

the dark cloud passes

so lightly and with ease

Love shines done

healing all again.
