New Guy, Old Fart

Hi All,

I just joined. I've been playing (piano, guitar and flute) and writing for at least a few decades. I also compose classical stuff, but sometimes I guy just wants to rock out. I like both sides of that coin though I do sometimes insist on some sophistication in my pop stuff (like I despise simple parallel vocal armonies). I'm pretty good at recording, but tend to be wordy in my lyric writing. I need to get over that and that's one reason why I registered here.

So I hope to contribute and make myself useful, but I also hope to get some constructive criticism. Actually, I'm counting on it.
