Uhhh Hello!

Apparently I'm supposed to post and write about myself here o_O so uh my name is Kellyann and I'm from Michigan..I'm only 15 and new to this site so bear with me..

I love any kind of music as long as the lyrics have meaning and the person making the music actually cares... there are so many artists out there today who are just in it for the fame, have terrible music, and it's frusterating -__- I more of lean towards metal/hardcore/alternative music though.

I'm in a metal band called We Conquer Darkness and we're just getting started so later on when we record I'll probably post some stuff.. There is an alternative rock side project called Diversify that me and a few friends are also working on.. not sure if they're going anywhere.

I play the guitar, do backup vocals and write songs but I can also play bass. I've been singing since I was I think 5 or 6 years old and have been playing guitar for over 3 years now.. I'm going to post some lyrics on here for some critique as soon as I get over the fact that no one has ever seen my lyrics before and I'm kind of afraid to show anyone haha!

A band that has a major influence on me is Eyes Set to Kill... not only because I love their music but because there are finally two girls in a metal band who don't look like dudes. The lead guitarist/vocalist/songwriter is a girl and reminds me of my position in my band... and it's nice in general to finally see a girl in the whole metal scene.

So this is probably too long but oh well I guess:p
