Hi all thought i would introduce myself. My name is John aka Johnny mic.

I am a 29yr father of two. I have no real background in music to speak of, unless you count skipping music class in highschool lol.i write hip hop and poetry. I draw influence from everywhere as i beleive any good writer should, if u limit your ear to one sound you will sound only one way. I listen to rap, rock, blues, metal and just about anything with some kind of message. At this point i find myself being drawn to folk music more specificly the stylings of mumford and sons. Any how just wanted to say hi and i have enjoyed the interaction with this perticular group of artist you have a very open accepting group here wich is rare
