I heard some priests preaching in a church today

People with empty minds and a thirst for life

Your every wish will come true, they said

If only you pray, that Lord is benevolent

Next time, I thought in my mind as it was full today

Ask for You in my prayers and try my providence

Life I have been granted, needless to say

Sorrows came with it as there was no partiality

Lord, I was told , listens himself

Every prayer that was ever prayed to him

Why don’t I get answers for mine?

Once that I had asked for You in my Prayers

You were watching your Semblance in the mirror I was told

A voice came to me in the darkness of night

That passion of your soul

That Quietness in your face

Those iridescent lips of yours

You have no reason to care for others, The mirror said

If they survive or they pass away.

Yet another day went by waiting for you

Night passed away thinking

Why am I to blame here?

This being has to be passed somehow

It was consecrated to me
