Singer-/songwriter Composing Songs In Romantic Tradition

Hi guys,

 

I wonder if anyone of you has an idea: I'm looking for singer- /songwriters who are composing in the romantic tradtition of Robert Schumann / Franz Schubert / The Lied or feel strongly connected to this kind of music.

 

On his album "All days are nights: Songs for Lulu" Rufus Wainwright tied up to this tradition (of Song Cycles), also Paul Kelly did on his album "Spring and Fall", but are they the only ones? I'm sure they're not!

 

Your help would be highly appreciated!
