Freshman Guitars

I had a couple of hours to while away in towm last weekend while my car was being serviced so I went into a guitar shop and tried out an electro-acoustic guitar under the pretence that I was interested in buying one. Got an hour's free practice.

But the guitar was a brand I had never tried before - Freshman. The particular model was the A300 which is an auditorium size (i.e. smaller) with a cutaway and onboard EQ etc. Very lightweight, beautiful tone and £379 ($700) though you can get them for under £300.

So I came out of the shop having abandoned the pretence of buying one but, instead, seriously considering it. Anyone heard of this brand and have an opinion on their gear?

sorry never heard of them...for that price range i have always veered towards washburn acoustic

Like very many guitars they are made in China. The worksmanship is top quality though.
