(Poem) What Is Love

Recommended Posts

I feel it in my chest,

flowing through my veins

I feel it as I look at her

and bleed it when I fall for her.

I can breathe it when I walk near her.

I can feel it,

and I can bleed it,

I can breathe it.

But what is it,

what is love?

I can hear it through your voice,

I can see it when I look through your eyes,

The light in those eyes will guide me to it.

I feel it in my chest,

flowing through my veins,

I can see it when I look into her eyes,

and bleed it when I fall for her

I can breathe it as I walk near her

Even hear it in her voice.

But what is that sensation,

that wonderful but horrible creation.

What is it?

What is love?

I like that it poses a question many of us ask, and I like the formatting of it. Good poem.
