Sometimes men fear what is true.

For the things they do.

Fear of fire and fear of death

Both should cause concern.

Smoke alarms and gasoline 

Scary and they burn.

In our great society

Lots can make us scared

Guns and thugs and angry men

Hopefully we're spared.

Verse 3

In our fear and in our dread

We should show some strength.

We should try and fight our fears.
